So many times we hold onto grudges that end up only hurting us. A friend of mine once told me that holding a grudge is like drinking poison and expecting it to kill someone else.  Sometimes, it’s ourselves that we won’t forgive. No matter what has caused the grudge, it’s time to let it go.  Do for ourselves what Christ did for all – Forgive.

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. (‭Luke‬ ‭17‬:‭3-4‬ KJV)
