“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:”
2 Corinthians 9:6-8 KJV
This is the principle of harvest: What you sow, you’re going to reap — for good or for bad. Whatever you plant, that’s what you’re going to get back. That’s true about money, but it’s also true about everything else. If you sow criticism, people are going to criticize you. If you sow gossip, others are going to gossip about you. If you plant resentment, people are going to resent you.
Whatever you need more of, you should give it, and you’ll get more back. Do you need more energy?… you have to exercise. Do you need more affirmation in your life? Start affirming other people. Do you need more love, then love others first. Do you want people to appreciate you, then show others appreciation. Do you want your family to be saved? Then you should go soul winning.
The principle is simple. We reap what we sow. We reap more than we sow. We reap after we sow.
What have you been sowing?
