In pursuit of life’s fulfillment this generation seems to be chasing whatever it is that defines “success.” We buy more and more “things” (or maybe we hoard our money in savings). We accept every invitation and go to more and more events. We are connected on every social network and add more and more “friends.” But somehow, it’s never enough. That’s because nothing outside of a personal relationship with Christ can ever fill the emptiness of that ache inside your heart.

Our scavenger hunt for success will never be enough. Christ is what we are all searching for. He is our source. He is our strength. He is our sustainer. He is our joy. He is our contentment. He is our all and all. He’s everything that matters.

When Christ is all you have, you’ll finally realize that Christ is all you need.

“Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.” Haggai 1:6 KJV
