Are You on the Right Path?

If only all (and I mean all) of my “works” were aligned to God’s will… what a game changer this would be! Take a look at this scripture: “Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.” Proverbs 16:3

So, if we cast our works onto Him, meaning do all things for His glory, (um… yes, that means stop worrying, getting angry, grumbling, nagging, etc.); He will establish our thoughts and make us think along the lines of His will.

This is staggering in its significance. If we trust Him, He will turn our hearts to His will (the path He has laid for us). We know that if we are in His will, He will guide us and lead us, protect us and provide for us. How comforting it is to know that as we commit our works to Him, He will turn us to not only hear from Him, but our very thoughts will become His thoughts… which will direct our path!

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Proverbs 3:5-6
